Officially my own boss
Yesterday marked the first day that I am officially running this business without an office job in the way. Or, a better way of putting it, is that I’m now able to continue to work full time on designing kick ass weddings for my clients without having to juggle a corporate day job. For the past one and a half years I’ve worked as a textile designer from 9-6 and grew my company every other hour that I could find.
It was ridiculously hard.
And now it’s over. There were some days and nights when I never thought this week would ever come. But it’s here and I have big plans. YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! I’ll be working from my home studio making modern decorations, putting together colorful floral arrangements, and continuing to grow this business to serve creative couples who have an unconventional style.
I’ve got styled shoots planned, a full calendar of amazing couples who are getting married this summer and fall, my first bat mitzvah, baby showers, breakfast dates, dinner dates, coffee dates, and beach days. I’m currently booking for 2014 – saying your I Dos and want some custom, modern decor? Hit me up!
