How To: Geometric No-Sew Backdrop
Like many amazing ideas we all see on pinterest for backdrops, fabric ones almost always come with one skill you must have: the ability to sew. Introducing, a modern, geometric, colorful, fabric backdrop that has no sewing involved. No thread, no sewing machine, no iron required. Happy day! I worked with A Practical Wedding to design and create this no-sew geometric backdrop.
The secret is to use a painting drop cloth. Yep, that’s right, the ones found in the paint section of Home Depot. They are already hemmed, are inexpensive, and come in the perfect dimensions for a photobooth backdrop. I made this one full of color with some tape and acrylic paint. Hop on over to A Practical Wedding for all of the detailed instructions.
Along with wedding photos, the backdrop is also useful for showing off baby bumps. Me, at 29 weeks.
