60 year old photos

“Filling my canteen from the lister bag.”

“These are the first tents we lived in.  Mine is the 2nd in with the door open.  Note the clothes that I just washed and the water cans.”

These pictures are of my grandfather, Merrill Pacifico, serving in the Army during World War II.  I love that he wrote on the back of all his pictures to give us a glimpse into that time.   Happy Veterans Day.
