Alexis and Chris had a surprise wedding at The Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn, NY. Their guests thought they were coming for their engagement party…then…SURPRISE…it was actually their wedding. We designed a dramatic installation of 500 carnations that hung over their bar. Patina Rentals brought in a bunch of beautiful couches, rugs, and tables to create an intimate, lounge atmosphere. Cascading globe lights hung over their dance floor and illuminated the wonderful space at The Wythe.
Nisha and Brendan were married on a summer day at Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren, NJ. They infused both of their cultures, Indian and Japanese-American, into a colorful and modern celebration. Their hindu ceremony took place under a contemporary Mandap of coral, gold, and teal ribbons. The same ribbons hung over their reception dinner. Nisha loves unconventional flowers and plants. I used protea, airplants, and succulents to create the quirky bouquet and centerpieces.

Ginevra and Mike were married surrounded by lush, romantic florals and the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City, NY. Her bouquet was a mix of cafe au lait dahlias, roses, eucalyptus, and wrapped in black lace. The reception centerpieces were each a different mix of candles. From candelabras to tapers to bottles covered in wax, the mix of candles created a warm, lovely environment to celebrate in.
Jenna and Brad threw a stylish cocktail party following their modern ceremony on the water at the Liberty Warehouse in Red Hook, Brooklyn. They were married in front of an unconventional backdrop of handmade paper flowers and striped ribbons that we designed especially for them. There cocktail party reception featured ribbon table runners, black and white candlesticks, and upscale lounges surrounding their dance floor.
Inspired by the 1920s era of the Great Gatsby, this editorial was shot at the de Seversky Mansion. I designed the look, feeling, and color palette of the shoot to be deep, rich, and premium. The ceremony backdrop I made had crinkled tissue paper and whimsical green garlands. Lush florals were placed in every shot, from the bouquet to the table to the dessert buffet.

Miranda and Doug were married at Powerhouse Arena in Dumbo. Yep, you read that right. A wedding in a bookstore. So cool! Being from the South, they incorporated the Southern tradition of a second line parade to guide their guests to the reception.
